I help surface pattern designers figure out the best ways to get over their excuses and find a way to get paid for their art. But not in a "why did I sign up for this boot camp" way. More like in a "motivating biz bestie" type way.

I design patterns and illustrations to go on the surfaces of products of all types, from greeting cards to dinner plates. I’ve been running my own business for 11 years, and before that I spent a decade as a textile designer in New York City, for both home linens and apparel. Now I spend my days creating art for freelance clients and for art licensing partners, as well as teaching designers who are just getting started with surface pattern how to make a living in the industry.
